Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Osto! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to set up your account and begin securing your digital assets.

Step 1: Account Setup and Onboarding

  1. Navigate to the official Osto website and click Sign Up.

  2. Register using your business email or an existing Google Workspace/Microsoft account.

  3. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your email to verify your account.

  4. Complete the brief onboarding process.

  5. Log in to your Osto Dashboard.

Step 2: Add Your Assets

  1. From the main dashboard, navigate to the Assets section.

  2. Register your critical resources for protection, including your websites, users, and servers.

  3. Osto will automatically discover and analyze your APIs to ensure they are secured.

Step 3: Define Security Policies

  1. Go to the Policies section.

  2. Configure security rules for Website Protection, User Protection, and Secure Server Access.

  3. Customize the rules to align with your organization's specific security requirements.

Step 4: Deploy Security Controls

  1. Install the Osto agent on required endpoints, such as user devices or servers.

  2. Configure access controls to enforce secure authentication workflows.

  3. Enable security features like Content Filtering, Threat Protection, and Device Control as needed.

Step 5: Monitor and Manage

  1. Use the main Dashboard to monitor security events, threats, and overall system performance.

  2. Review detailed logs and alerts in the Auditing & Reporting section (Future Scope) to maintain compliance and investigate incidents.

  3. Continuously update policies as your security needs evolve.
